IPL 2025 mega auction: List of all players bought by GT on day 1

GT entered the IPL 2025 mega auction with a purse of INR 69 crores.

2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Gujarat Titans (GT), entered the IPL 2025 mega auction with a purse of INR 69 crores. Retaining five players – Rashid Khan, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan (uncapped player) the franchise had maintained their core before the next season.

GT had a busy day at the auction table, the franchise added nine new players to the squad. Some of GT’s key signing included – Jos Buttler, Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada.

Known for their excellent bowling lineup, GT strengthened their fast bowling cartel by adding two top-tier international fast bowlers in Rabada and Siraj. Siraj’s additional will sharpen GT’s bowling in the powerplay whereas Rabada will provide balance in the death overs.

The franchise has also made key inclusions of Jos Buttler and Anuj Rawat in their batting lineup. Buttler will bring experience in the batting order, forming one of the deadliest opening duos in the tournament with captain Shubman Gill.

GT spent a total of INR 51.5 crores on the day one of the IPL 2025 mega auction.

GT have a total of INR 17.5 crores remaining in their purse.

Total slots available for GT

GT can buy minimum 4 to maximum 11 players tomorrow. They also have five overseas slots remaining to fill.
