IPL 2025 mega auction: How many players will enter the auction with base price of INR 2 crores?

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the list of players who will go under the hammer at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction.
The IPL 2025 mega auction will take place on November 24 and 25 at the Abady Al Johar Arena, also known as Benchmark Arena, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The auction will start at 3:00 PM IST, which is 12.30 PM Local time.
A total of 1574 players had registered their names for the mega auction. From this, the BCCI, after taking inputs from the 10 franchises, has shortened the list to 574 players to be auctioned. Out of these, 366 are Indians and 208 are overseas players.
Since each team’s squad can include a maximum of 25 players, a maximum of 204 players can be sold, out of which 70 can be overseas.
Players have registered themselves in different base price categories, with INR 2 crores being the maximum and INR 30 lakhs being the minimum.
There will be two sets of marquee players, M1 and M2. The M1 set includes Jos Buttler, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh and Mitchell Starc, and the M2 set includes Yuzvendra Chahal, Liam Livingstone, David Miller, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj.
