IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 65, RCB vs SRH

SRH defeated RCB by 42 runs in the 65th match of IPL 2025.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) locked horns in match No. 65 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Friday, May 23. The encounter took place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. SRH won the match by 42 runs.
RCB had a mammoth target of 232 runs to chase in the match. RCB openers Phil Salt and Virat Kohli scored good knocks of 62 runs and 43 runs respectively. However, other batters failed to follow up on their good start as RCB were bowled out for 189 runs in the end. SRH skipper Pat Cummins clinched a three-wicket haul.
Earlier, RCB stand-in skipper Rajat Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first. Ishan Kishan smacked an unbeaten 94 runs for SRH. Aniket Verma slammed quickfire 26 runs off nine balls to propel the scoreboard to 231/6 in first innings.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the 65th match of IPL 2025, SRH stay in the eighth spot in the points table. They have 11 points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of -0.737. On the other hand, RCB have dropped to the third place after a defeat in the match. They have 17 points and NRR of +0.255.
Gujarat Titans (GT) capture the top spot in the points table with 18 points. Punjab Kings (PBKS) clinch the second position with 17 points. Mumbai Indians (MI) hold the fourth position with 16 points. Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) continue to languish at the last two spots in the points table.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
There are no changes in the list of the top five highest run-scorers following RCB vs SRH match. GT batters Sai Sudharsan (638) and Shubman Gill (636) continue to grab the top two spots. Suryakumar Yadav (583) and Mitchell Marsh (560) occupy the third and fourth spots respectively in Orange Cap leaderboard. Yashasvi Jaiswal grabs the fifth spot with 559 runs.

There are no changes to the list of top five wicket-takers after match No. 65 of IPL 2025. Prasidh Krishna and Noor Ahmad grab the top two spots with 21 wickets each. MI pacer Trent Boult follows them in the third spot with 19 scalps. Josh Hazlewood occupies the fourth spot with 18 wickets, while Varun Chakravarthy grabs the fifth spot with 17 wickets.
