IPL 2025 updated points table after match 34, RCB vs PBKS

PBKS defeated RCB by five wickets in the 34th game of IPL 2025.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) hosted Punjab Kings (PBKS) in match 34 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Chasing 96 for victory in a rain-marred encounter, PBKS defeated RCB by five wickets in the match with help of unbeaten 43 from Nehal Wadhera.
Earlier in the game, the visitors won the toss and opted to bowl first in the match, which was reduced to 14 overs per side due to rain. Most of RCB batters failed to score runs in the first innings, with key members like Phil Salt, Virat Kohli, Liam Livingstone, and Jitesh Sharma losing their wickets for single digits. However, Tim David (50* off 26) hammered a quickfire unbeaten half-century to power the team’s total to 95/9.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the defeat against PBKS in match 34 of IPL 2025, RCB have dropped down to fourth spot in IPL 2025 points table. They have eight points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of +0.446. On the other hand, PBKS are now positioned second in the updated standings with 10 points and NRR of 0.308.
Delhi Capitals (DC) and Gujarat Titans (GT) hold the first and third spots respectively in the updated points table. DC have 10 points while GT have eight points. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) take the fifth spot with an equal number of points.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
Nicholas Pooran continues to steal the top spot in Orange Cap Leaderboard, followed by Sai Sudharsan in the second spot. Mitchell Marsh is another LSG batter on the list. Notably, PBKS skipper Iyer has moved to the fifth spot and replaced Kohli. Iyer scored seven runs while Kohli scored one run in the encounter. Kohli follows him closely in the sixth spot in the list of highest run-getters in IPL 2025.

2. Sai Sudharsan (GT) – 329 runs

IPL 2025: Most wickets (Purple Cap)
RCB pacer Josh Hazlewood has jumped to the second spot in the Purple Cap Leaderboard. He picked three wickets in the match. There are no PBKS bowlers among the top five highest wicket-takers in this season. Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, and Hardik Pandya round off the list of top five highest wicket-takers with 11 scalps each.
