IPL 2026: All players bought by RR in auction

Ravi Bishnoi became the most expensive player bought by RR in the IPL 2026 auction.
Going into the IPL 2026 Auction, Rajasthan Royals had a budget of NR 16.05 crore. Despite already making a few changes via trade ahead of the auction, RR still had to make a few crucial additions to the line-up, such as securing the services of a leg-spinner to pair up with veteran Ravindra Jadeja.
The first player Rajasthan seemed interested in was Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. After some starting competition with the Mumbai Indians, the inaugural champions got into a bidding contest with the Kolkata Knight Riders. However, they decided to opt out of the race at INR 13.60 crore.
Green eventually became the most expensive overseas player in the tournament’s history, as he was sold for INR 25.20 crore to KKR. However, their first signing of the auction was Ravi Bishnoi. The leg-spinner began his career as a net bowler for RR, and he has finally been given the opportunity after playing for Lucknow and Chennai.
While Bishnoi became the outshining star of their auction, the Rajasthan Royals decided to invest more in uncapped cricket stars, who have been performing well in the domestic circuit.
List of all players RR have bought in the auction
Ravi Bishnoi

The Royals made the first bid for Ravi Bishnoi. After some thinking, Chennai decided to compete with Rajasthan for the wrist spinner, who was seen as one of the most promising bowlers before the auction.
While CSK wanted a replacement for Jadeja, RR wanted a partner for the former Chennai star. When Chennai decided to opt out of the bidding war, Hyderabad joined in. However, they eventually managed to secure Bishnoi’s services for the steal amount of INR 7.20 crore.
Sushant Mishra
Despite bids from DC and KKR, the Royals managed to buy Sushant Mishra for INR 90 lakh. They also opened the bid for Mukul Choudhary and Prashant Veer. However, they were eventually bought by LSG and CSK.
Yash Raj Punja
RR bought uncapped spinner Yash Raj Punja for his base price of INR 30 lakh, as no other team made a bid for the 19-year-old. Last year, Ian Bishop uploaded a picture with Yash Raj Punja when the 19-year-old was playing as a net bowler. Notably, Punja stands 6 feet 5 inches tall, according to recent records.
Vignesh Puthur
Completing another quick signing, RR signed left-arm leg spinner Vignesh Puthur at his base price of INR 30 lakh. Puttur was a part of the Mumbai Indians previously in the Indian Premier League; however, they decided not to bid for the 24-year-old.
Ravi Singh
Ravi Singh became Rajasthan Royals’ fifth purchase of the 2026 auction for INR 90 lakh. The 24-year-old left-hand batsman has represented the railways in the domestic circuit.
Aman Rao
The Royals steal right-handed batsman Aman Rao for INR 30 lakh. Born in Wisconsin, England, the 21-year-old represents Hyderabad in domestic cricket.
Brijesh Sharma
Right-arm bowler Brijesh Sharma is set to play for Rajasthan Royals at the 2026 IPL. The 27-year-old has played domestic cricket for Bengal.
Adam Milne
RR bought Adam Milne for INR 2.40 lakh in the auction in Abu Dhabi. Earlier, the 33-year-old played in the IPL for CSK, MI, and RCB. In a total of 10 games in the league, Milne has taken seven wickets.
Kuldeep Sen
Kuldeep Sen returned to Rajasthan for INR 75 lakh. The right-arm fast bowler has played in the IPL for the Royals for three consecutive seasons between 2022 and 2024, where he got limited opportunities. He picked 14 wickets in 12 games for the Inurugal champions.
How many players have RR bought in the IPL 2026 auction?
RR bought 9 players in the auction.
