According to a Times of India (TOI) report, DC have begun player trials in Bengaluru from August 3, 2026, as part of their preparations for IPL 2027.
The Bengaluru trials feature players from the West and South Zones, which will scout the Delhi Capitals to assess a wide pool of domestic talent before taking important squad-building decisions for the upcoming season.

Among the players attending the trials are Mumbai cricketers Ayush Vartak, Ayaz Khan and Divyaansh Saxena. Ayush Vartak came into the spotlight in Mumbai cricket because of his striking ability and consistent performances at the domestic level.
Ayaz Khan and Divyaansh Saxena have also impressed at the domestic level and earned the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the Delhi Capitals coaching staff. For all three players, this is an opportunity to leave a strong impression and move one step closer to their IPL dream.
