Punjab Kings (PBKS) pacer Arshdeep Singh has revealed how his team would celebrate if they win Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 trophy. The left-arm pacer said they would plan for an open bus parade in Chandigarh if they go on to win their maiden IPL title this year.
Notably, PBKS have never reached the playoffs after the 2014 season, where they ended as runners-up. If we take a glance at IPL history, PBKS are the most unsuccessful team. They have consistently failed to grab a place in the playoffs for the last few years.
This time, Shreyas Iyer has the reins of the side. Notably, the right-handed batter led Kolkata Knight Riders to the trophy last season and has been in commendable form during last year across all formats.

“The energy is fantastic, and the atmosphere in the dressing room is incredible. This time, we will give Punjab fans a reason to celebrate. I don’t want to jinx it, but I’m really excited. Fans will be thrilled when they see the brand of cricket we’re going to play this year,” the left-armer said.
“We appreciate all the fans who have supported us for 17 years, and we will do our best to give them a season to remember. Our goal is to play just 16 matches, win the title, and celebrate with them in Chandigarh with an open-bus parade,” said Arshdeep, who has been part of PBKS for the last few seasons in the IPL.
I like to bowl under pressure: Arshdeep
Arshdeep Singh, who is playing under Shreyas Iyer’s guidance this season, also said he enjoys bowling under pressure. Notably, the left-armer has bowled brilliant death overs for PBKS as well as the India National Cricket Team in many games during the last few years. He has also snatched victories in the final overs in narrow clashes.
“I enjoy stepping up when the team is under pressure—whether it’s stopping runs or taking wickets. When they hand me the ball in crucial moments, it feels good to know that they trust me. I genuinely enjoy the added responsibility, regardless of the situation,” he concluded.
