Prince Yadav made his IPL debut against DC.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have taken firm control of their away fixture in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.
Sent to bat first, SRH had a disappointing start as they lost openers Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan inside the powerplay, managing just 15 runs.
Travis Head and Nitish Reddy steadied the innings with a 61-run stand for the third wicket. Head looked in fine touch, scoring 47 off 28 balls with five fours and three sixes.
The biggest breakthrough came in the eighth over when LSG debutant Prince Yadav, in his very first over, dismissed Travis Head. Attempting to accelerate the scoring, Head missed his slog on a fuller-length delivery, bringing an end to his 47-run knock.
It was also Prince’s maiden wicket in the competition.
