Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will resume on May 17 with a revised schedule for the remaining games of the tournament. As per the new schedule, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will clash with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the opening clash on Saturday, May 17. The encounter will take place at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
RCB have a piece of good news as their skipper Rajat Patidar has completely recovered from a finger injury on his right hand. The RCB captain sustained the injury while fielding in a clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 3.
He was advised to use a splint to protect his finger and recommended to skip training for 10 days. However, with the tournament getting suspended for a week, Patidar has now completely recovered from the injury and has started batting in the nets. Hence, he will be available for the upcoming clash against KKR.
