Ishan Kishan's GF's heartfelt message following his Duleep Trophy 2026 final heroics goes viral

Ishan Kishan has led East Zone to the brink of a third Duleep Trophy title with a mammoth first innings total.

Ishan Kishan’s marathon innings in the Duleep Trophy 2026 final became one of the biggest talking points of the match, as the East Zone captain produced a remarkable knock of over 250 runs against South Zone at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. 

After posting a century on Day 1, Ishan Kishan resumed his innings with the same amount of control and aggression before completing his double century from 270 balls. He then went on to score a 250, the first by a designated wicket-keeper batter or a captain in a Duleep Trophy final, before retiring hurt with cramps. However, he returned to complete his innings and added another 20 runs before being dismissed on the individual score of 270. 

The knock marked a particularly significant moment in Kishan’s career, as the left-hander has now strengthened his case for a return to India‘s Test setup. Also, he broke several records while crossing the 4000-run mark in his first-class career. 

Kishan has been receiving a large amount of praise from cricket fanatics and fellow teammates, but the most special moment came when Aditi Hundia shared a series of pictures from his innings on her Instagram story, honouring his historic knock.

Following Kishan’s extraordinary knock, Aditi Hundia shared a special Instagram story to pay tribute to the East Zone skipper’s achievement. However, the post not only featured Kishan’s innings captured through the television screen but also included a sensible message. 

While all three pictures portrayed Kishan’s 250-run milestone moment, Hundia added a heartfelt message over the photographs. She wrote, “250 in the scorching Chennai heat. Some innings are measured in runs; this one in resilience. So proud of you, Ishu.”

The post quickly attracted social media attention because of the magnitude of Kishan’s milestone and the thoughtful gesture from Aditi, who, instead of just celebrating the runs, highlighted the importance of the hard work behind the innings. 

For Kishan, it will remain his biggest personal milestone, but Aditi’s emotional tribute added another memorable moment to the Indian cricketer’s historic day.
