ENG vs IND: Jasprit Bumrah breaks Kapil Dev's test record with 5-fer in first innings of the Lord's test

Jasprit Bumrah has taken most five-wicket hauls for India in away tests.
England Cricket Team and Indian Cricket Team are wrestling in the third test of the five-match series at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah came up with a magnificent bowling show in the first innings as he picked a five-wicket haul to put his team at the top.
On day two, Bumrah unleashed his brutal best against England batters to clinch his second five-wicket haul of the series. Earlier, the senior Indian pacer captured a five-wicket haul in the first test at Headingley, Leeds. He was rested in the second test at Edgbaston.
In the second session on day two, Bumrah dismissed Jofra Archer to complete his five-wicket haul in the Lord’s test. With his spell, England were bowled out for 387/10 in the first innings. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Mohammed Siraj clinched two wickets each, while Ravindra Jadeja got one wicket.

With his five-wicket haul in the Lord’s test, Bumrah broke former India skipper Kapil Dev’s record of most fifers for India in away tests. The right-arm pacer now accounts for 13 five-wicket hauls in away tests. Overall, he has 15 fifers in tests.
Dev registered 12 five-fers in away tests during his career. The next Indian bowlers on the list are Anil Kumble and Ishant Sharma.

Talking about England’s innings, their openers Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett failed to get a good start. Ollie Pope added crucial 44 runs to the scoreboard. Joe Root slammed a spectacular century, hitting 104 runs off 199 deliveries.
Towards the end, Jamie Smith (51) and Brydon Carse (56) slammed half-centuries to drive the scoreboard to 387. Earlier, England skipper Ben Stokes won the toss and opted to bat first.
