[Watch] KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah's names inscribed on the Lord's Honours Board after their heroics in third ENG vs IND test

KL Rahul scored a ton, while Jasprit Bumrah picked a five-wicket haul in the Lord’s test.
KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah’s names have been added to the Lord’s honours board following their brilliant performances in the recent third test. The England Cricket Team defeated the Indian Cricket Team by 22 runs at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London in a nail-biting encounter that went till the final session on day five.
England set a target of 193 runs for India in the match. However, with three wickets each by Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer, England bowled out India for 170 runs to win the encounter. Ravindra Jadeja led India’s fightback during the chase with his unbeaten 61 runs.
Notably, Jasprit Bumrah clinched a wonderful five-wicket haul in first innings of the Lord’s test. He picked five wickets for 74 runs to bowl out England for 387. Later, KL Rahul (100) slammed a century to power India to 387/10 in the first innings.

The Lord’s Cricket Ground inscribes the names of stand-out performers on its Honours Board. Hence, Rahul and Bumrah’s names were added to the Lord’s Honours Board after the third test. The video of the moment was also shared on social media.

Meanwhile, with the victory in the third test, England lead the five-match series 2-1. Now, both teams will collide in fourth test of the series at Old Trafford, Manchester. The encounter is scheduled to begin on July 23. England have announced their squad for the next game.
Spinner Shoaib Bashir has been ruled out of the test series due to a finger injury. The hosts have inducted spinner Liam Dawson as his replacement in the squad for the fourth test. Meanwhile, India will aim for a comeback in the next game.
India have never defeated England at Old Trafford, Manchester in a test match. Out of nine tests at the stadium, England won four games while five clashes ended in a draw.
