Indian players were seen arguing with fielding coach T Dilip in a video on X.

The Shubman Gill-led Indian Cricket Team are all set to clash with the hosts England in a five-match test series. The ENG vs IND first test will begin from June 20 at Headingley in Leeds, while the fifth clash will be played at The Kia Oval from July 31 to August 4.

Notably, the Indian team comprise a young and less-experienced squad, which will be captained by newly appointed skipper Shubman Gill. Some senior members like Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, KL Rahul, and Ravindra Jadeja are also part of the squad.

However, with the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli from tests, India are expected to face a huge challenge in the batting department in English conditions. The Indian Team have not won a test series in England since 2007 and with less experience in their kitty, it will be an uphill task for them to win.

Watch – Indian players fight with fielding coach T Dilip during practice session

Indian players are currently having practice sessions at Headingly Cricket Ground in Leeds. On Wednesday (June 18), Kuldeep Yadav and other Indian players were seen fighting with fielding coach T Dilip during a practice session.

In a viral video on X (formerly Twitter), some Indian players were seen arguing with the fielding coach. Although the audio wasn’t clear, it looked like they were having some disagreements with Dilip regarding the throwing sessions. Have a look at the video below.

Notably, T Dilip was re-appointed as the fielding coach by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ahead of India’s tour of England 2025. The governing body recently sacked him and a few other members of the support staff. However, BCCI gave Dilip a one-year extension in May, reportedly on the recommendation of ODI skipper Rohit Sharma.
