Watch: Liam Livingstone injures knee while taking catch to dismiss Rohit Sharma in Lucknow
England batter Liam Livingstone injured himself while taking the catch of Rohit Sharma.
England all-rounder Liam Livingstone took a sharp catch in the deep to remove in-form Rohit Sharma for 87. But it may have come at a cost, as Liam Livingstone's knee got twisted in the turf as he took the catch. The outfield in Lucknow has come under the scanner after Englishman met with the freakish incident.
England bowlers took early wickets, and apart from skipper Rohit Sharma, no one really got going. India, who have been unbeaten so far, lost wickets at regular intervals. England are desperate for a win as they're at the bottom of the points table currently with 2 points.

Indian outfields are under the scanner
Earlier, Dharamsala outfield faced a lot of flak for being ordinary. England skipper Jos Buttler wasn't really happy about the outfield during England's match at Dharamsala. Buttler said that certain outfields in the ongoing World Cup are different from the ones he's played on during IPL.
“It’s poor, in my opinion. I think any time you’re sort of talking about being careful diving or sort of being careful when you’re fielding, it sort of goes against everything you want to be as a team. You know you want to dive through our houses to save a run. So, that’s obviously not ideal, the way the surface is, the outfield. The outfield is different from when we played here in the IPL,” Buttler opined.
Livingstone looked to be in pain after grabbing the catch. However, he was back on his feet after medical attention. Every side has won at least one match in the ongoing World Cup. There's a lot at stake as teams will look to finish in the top four in the standings and book a place in the semi-finals.
