PSL 2026: List of all award winners & prize money after PES vs HYK final
Peshawar Zalmi lift their second trophy after defeating Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final of PSL 2026.
After a month-long intense competition, the Pakistan Super League 2026 (PSL 2026) has concluded. The final of the tournament was played between Peshawar Zalmi and Hyderabad Kingsmen.
In the final, Hyderabad Kingsmen were asked to bat first, and they tried to score as much as they could in the Powerplay. However, after that, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals, with Aaron Hardie taking 4 wickets. They managed to get only 129 runs on the board.
In response, Zalmi suffered two quick wickets, losing both openers at just 7 runs, and then lost two more wickets, with the score reading 40/4. After that, Aaron Hardie and Abdul Samad formed a brilliant partnership to win the final, earning Zalmi their second PSL title.

Winners: Peshawar Zalmi
Peshawar Zalmi won the PSL 2026 title after defeating Hyderabad Kingsmen by 5 wickets in the final. They dominated the tournament, winning 8 of 10 league matches, losing only one. Their one match was abandoned due to rain.
They later continued their brilliant form in the playoffs, defeating Islamabad United in the Qualifier and then Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final. This is their second title; they won their first title in 2017. They will be awarded USD 500,000, which is the prize money for the PSL 2026 winners.
Runners-Up: Hyderabad Kingsmen
Very few experts had given Hyderabad Kingsmen a chance after they lost their first four matches in PSL 2026. Playing their first season, they had a very rough start, but under the leadership of Marnus Labuschagne, they turned things around and made a brilliant comeback.
They qualified for the playoffs after finishing fourth. In Eliminator 1, they defeated Multan Sultans, and then they defeated Islamabad United in a thriller in Eliminator 2 to earn their way into the final.
However, Peshawar Zalmi stopped their brilliant run in the final. They were awarded USD 300,000, which is the prize money for the PSL 2026 runners-up.
Hanif Mohammad Cap: Babar Azam (Most Runs- 588)
Babar Azam, one of the finest Pakistani batters, has been awarded the Best Batter of the Tournament for his outstanding performance this season. Leading Peshawar Zalmi from the front, Babar scored 588 runs in 11 innings, at an average of 73.5 and an impressive strike rate of 145.90.
He ended the season as the leading run-scorer, even after scoring a duck in the final. Moreover, he played a major role in Zalmi’s success this season.
Fazal Mehmood Cap: Sufiyan Muqeem (Most Wickets- 22)
Sufiyan Muqeem, representing Peshawar Zalmi, was named the Bowler of the Tournament. The left-arm wrist spinner took 22 wickets in the 11 matches, at an average of 14.40 and an economy rate of 7.20.
He was brilliant throughout the tournament and played a major role in Peshawar Zalmi’s title-winning campaign.
Player of the Tournament: Sufiyan Muqeem
Sufiyan Muqeem has been awarded the Player of the Tournament. The 23-year-old left-arm wrist spinner has been one of the main reasons behind Peshawar Zalmi’s win in PSL 2026. He picked up 22 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 14.40 and an economy rate of just 7.20.
Sufiyan’s control in the middle overs and wicket-taking ability helped Zalmi time and again throughout the tournament. He consistently broke crucial partnerships and turned games in his team’s favour with match-winning spells.
