Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is set to witness a battle among 10 teams for the title. All the sides features exciting names and it promises to be enthralling 74 games of the tournament.

Over the years, Indian Premier League has always been a launchpad for young cricketers. Every season, a new wave of fresh talents enter the league and many of them also earn a lot of appreciation with their performances.

Each season, many franchises invest in young promising domestic players and provide them the opportunity to showcase their skills. Some such players also earn expensive packages in the auctions. For instance, uncapped players Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma were offered a deal of INR 14.20 crore each from Chennai Super Kings.

A few debutants have also earned the spotlight in their first edition itself. Last year, Rajasthan Royals’ Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Punjab Kings’ Priyansh Arya grabbed a lot of limelight by smacking a century in their maiden season.
