Travis Head and Phil Salt have smashed the longest six of IPL 2025 so far.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) features probably the best power hitters in the game every season. That is why the IPL 2025 is also not different, and this season has seen some of the best six-hitters in modern-day cricket.
There is no better sight than watching a ball go for a long distance. With the ‘Impact Player’ rule, teams go hard after the bowling, resulting in more boundaries and sixes
Every IPL season gives some really big hits that even go over the stand or out of the stadium. Similarly, the IPL 2025 has already witnessed some really big hits in the matches played so far. In this article, we will talk about the top five longest sixes hit in the IPL 2025.
Here’s the list of top five longest sixes in IPL 2025
5. Nicholas Pooran – 97 meters vs SRH
Since 2024, Nicholas Pooran has hit the most sixes in T20 cricket. He is a six-hitting machine with a great bat flow. If there is a ball in his range, it will go the distance. He hit a 97-meter six in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Dr. YSR ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vishakapatnam. It is still a small six for his ability, and he himself will think to go even further next time.
4. Tristan Stubbs – 98 meters vs LSG
A combination of power and timing is very rare, and Tristan Stubbs comes with this ability. The DC star makes six hitting look very easy. He is a powerful batter and packs a punch. Stubbs has deposited a ball at 98 meters in the game against Lucknow Super Giants at the Dr. YSR ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vishakapatnam. This was the game when DC beat LSG by just one wicket.
3. Aniket Verma – 102 meters vs DC
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Aniket Verma announced himself with a blistering 41-ball 74 against Delhi Capitals. Though it came in a losing cause, he certainly showed that he has the temperament to perform at this level. It was his first ever T20 fifty. He struck six sixes in his innings. One of his sixes off Axar Patel went 102 meters long.
2. Phil Salt – 105 meters vs LSG
M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is one of the best venues to hit sixes, where balls even travel out of the ground sometimes because of the structure of the stadium. That is where Phil Salt hit a long six. In the very first home game for RCB, Salt tonked Mohammed Siraj for a massive 105m six. Though he got out on the very next ball in the match, he has made his appearance on this elite list.
1. Travis Head – 105 meters vs RR
Sunrisers Hyderabad have already crossed the 280-run mark this season. They achieved it in their very first game against Rajasthan Royals and made 286. A total of 30 sixes were hit in that game. Travis Head hit three sixes, and one of them went 105 meters long, which is the joint-longest six in the IPL 2025 so far.
