LSG's full schedule for IPL 2026: Know match dates, timings, venues & more

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be captained by Rishabh Pant in IPL 2026.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) enter yet another Indian Premier League (IPL) in the hunt of the title. Under Rishabh Pant, they were expected to come up with a strong performances but that wasn’t the case as they they failed to qualify for playoffs.

LSG had ups and downs during the season, and injuries to key bowlers also affected them. The team finished seventh on the points table with six wins and eight losses in 14 matches. The opening combination of Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram were a big positive for them as the duo provided promising starts in almost every game

The middle order, however, struggled to carry the momentum forward with big players like Rishabh Pant and David Miller failing to make a mark. As far as the bowling goes, Ravi Bishnoi failed to provide expected results with Digvesh Rathi taking over the reigns.

Pacers Avesh Khan and Mayank Yadav were injured for most of the season, leaving LSG short in the bowling department. LSG have attempted a mini shuffle to their squad during the IPL 2026 auction after trading Mohammed Shami and letting go seasoned players like David Miller and Ravi Bishnoi.
