The IPL 2027 auction is all set to take place later this year.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the most highly anticipated events on the cricket calendar for the fans. The tournament offers high-paced action as fans get to witness their favourite cricket players in action for two months.
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have dominated the competition over the last two editions. From being trophyless for more than 15 years to winning two consecutive titles, the side has been on a generational run. With RCB lifting two consecutive titles in the biggest T20 franchise league, only three teams remain without having lifted the trophy.
The teams are Delhi Capitals (DC), Punjab Kings (PBKS), and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Thus, for all these teams, the upcoming IPL auction would be a great opportunity to revamp their side and aim to win the coveted title again.
Meanwhile, apart from these three sides, a few teams and players will also be keenly looking forward to the auction as their fate will be decided under the hammer. And BCCI has given a major update about the 2027 Indian Premier League auction.
