IPL 2024: MI brutally troll Delhi Capitals after Sunrisers Hyderabad score 125 in powerplay

Sunrisers Hyderabad registered the highest powerplay score against Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
After finishing the last season at the bottom, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have been spectacular in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. They have beaten some heavyweights this season, including Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, and it looks like they will keep on playing in an ultra aggressive manner throughout the competition. And it all came after Pat Cummins took charge of the captaincy.
Match No. 35 is currently underway at Arun Jaitley Stadium, where SRH are taking on Delhi Capitals (DC). DC came into this game after a couple of wins, but they faced a record-breaking batting display from SRH openers. They completed the team’s fifty in just 2.4 overs and reached 100 in 5 overs, registering the fastest team’s century of all time.

SRH finished the powerplay at 125/0, and it was the highest score for any team after the first six overs in all T20 matches. Notably, this is not the first time that SRH have gotten off to such a flying start this season. Earlier, they registered 277 against MI and 287 against SRH. As a result, many fans started trolling DC. Even Mumbai Indians have a humorous reaction to such mayhem at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
The Mumbai-based franchise sent a clip of stand-up comedian Abhishek Upmanyu, asking “Aa gaya swaad,” meaning “Did you get the taste now?” This response from MI came on twitter to a tweet where DC had trolled MI when they conceded, the then highest IPL total, 277 against SRH.

Speaking of the game, DC won the toss and decided to bowl first, but it looks like that decision has backfired on them. They need a win because they have just won three games out of seven this season. On the other hand, SRH have a great chance to register a big win. If they can do so, they can move up the table and inch closer to a place in the playoffs.
