MS Dhoni is loved by the huge fanbase in the IPL and CSK gets support at all venues.

MS Dhoni is a fan favorite wherever he goes and in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, he gets the loudest cheers while coming out to bat for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He is also one of the players, who are very respectful of their fans and try to engage with them whenever opportunity arises.

Fans’ eagerness to witness their favorite “Thala” in action during each IPL season demonstrates that age is no barrier to their unwavering devotion. S Ramdas, a CSK and Dhoni devotee from Chennai, stands out for his amazing dedication.

He is 103 years old and a long-time IPL fan. He is a living example of someone who is unwavering in his support for CSK and cricket. His unwavering dedication exemplifies the enduring relationship between supporters and their favorite team, as well as the timeless allure of cricket and the fandom spirit.

“Thanks Thatha for the support”- MS Dhoni’s words for 103-year-old CSK fan S Ramdas

Ramdas revealed that he had always been afraid of playing cricket, but he still watches his favorite team play on television. In one scene of the video, Ramdas can be seen expressing his desire to see Dhoni, even if it means traveling across the nation.

Being a former member of the Army of the British Military official, Ramdas, previously gained recognition amongst CSK’s massive fanbase, after the franchise shared a video of him expressing his love for the franchise and his favorite player, Dhoni.

“While I was studying school, I was interested in cricket. But I was also afraid of getting hit. I used to bowl. I love cricket, but I am afraid of playing cricket. I watch it on TV. 20 overs games finish quickly. They don’t drag on. I like it,” he said.

In a video posted by Chennai Super Kings on Instagram, Dhoni is seen signing the jersey and also writing a message as a token of appreciation for the veteran fan. The message on the jersey read: “Thanks Thatha for the support”

The video concluded with S Ramdas accepting the shirt and expressing his delight. He became emotional and thanked the Super Kings for sending the gift.
