MS Dhoni makes the days of millions of CSK fans as he hits two sixes in the 20th over from Sam Curran
Ravindra Jadeja couldn’t do much scoring just 12 runs, but it was Devon Conway who batted throughout the innings and scored his highest IPL score of 92* in 52 balls with 16 fours and 1 six.
However, at the fall of Jadeja’s wicket, the Chepauk stadium made deafening noise as in walked MS Dhoni who looked ready to score some runs in the final few balls. Though he could only manage 1 run in the first two balls he faced, things changed on the last two balls of the innings.
Sam Curran bowled the 5th ball a bit short outside off stump and Dhoni had to reach out a bit but managed to carve it for a six over point fielder for six. Then Curran overcorrected and bowled a yorker at Dhoni’s pads.
But he erred in the length and it was a low full-toss which Dhoni smacked over the mid-wicket boundary into the sea of yellow. Thanks to his two hits, CSK posted 200/4 in 20 overs.
