MS Dhoni celebrated his 43rd birthday with wife Sakshi on July 7, 2024.

Former Indian cricket team and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is celebrating his 43rd birthday today, 7th July. He began the celebrations with cutting a cake with his wife Sakshi. In some pictures, even Bollywood star Salman Khan was seen in the celebrations.

On July 4, Dhoni and Sakshi celebrated their 15 years of togetherness in a simple style that went viral on social media and won many hearts among the fans.

Legendary cricketer Dhoni recently congratulated the Indian cricket team for winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in Barbados on June 29. He even thanked the team for an advance birthday gift.

Earlier in his playing days, India lifted ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011 and ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 under MS Dhoni’s leadership.

Sakshi Singh touches Dhoni’s feet on his 43rd birthday

The 43-year-old Dhoni is often known for keeping his celebrations low-key and prefers to spend his birthday with his family most of the time.

In a video shared by Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh on her Instagram handle, the legendary cricketer Dhoni was seen cutting a cake. However, Sakshi Singh made a gesture towards Dhoni after she playfully touched his husband’s feet, to which Dhoni gave her blessings.

Sakshi Singh also the captioned the post with “Happy Birthday @mahi7781 ❤️🧿🫶🏻 .”

Dhoni is regarded as one of the greatest white-ball cricketers of all time. In 350 ODIs, the wicket-keeper batter amassed 10,773 runs at a stunning average of 50.57. Dhoni smashed 10 centuries and 73 half-centuries in ODIs.

In T20Is, Dhoni played 98 matches and scored 1617 runs at an average of 37.6. The 43-year-old hammered two fifties for India in the shortest format. Dhoni is the only captain to win all ICC white-ball tournaments so far.

In the Indian Premier League, Dhoni has guided the Chennai Super Kings to win joint-most five trophies till now. Dhoni stepped down from IPL captaincy ahead of the 2024 edition, with Ruturaj Gaikwad becoming the new skipper of CSK.
