Now, reports by RevSportz have confirmed that Dhoni will not play in tonight’s game. The team wants him to be fully fit before returning. He is likely to be available for the next match against Gujarat Titans on April 26 at the Chepauk Stadium.

Notably, CSK are also dealing with other injuries. Khaleel Ahmed has been ruled out due to a quadriceps injury. Young batter Ayush Mhatre is also out with a hamstring problem. The team is looking at replacements, including Akash Madhwal and Rajvardhan Hangargekar.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians have gained confidence after a big 99-runs win over Gujarat Titans. They will look to continue their momentum.
