Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are locking horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) in match 26 of the Indian Premier League 2026 on Saturday, April 18. The encounter is taking place at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
DC won the toss and opted to field first in the clash. RCB made a blistering start, with a 52-run stand between openers Virat Kohli and Phil Salt. They reached almost 100 runs in the first 10 overs; however, they failed to maintain that momentum in the next 10 overs.

In the 18th over of Lungi Ngidi, DC pacer Mukesh Kumar suffered an injury. Jitesh Sharma played a shot with a thick edge, which Mukesh tried to catch with a big dive. However, he reacted late and suffered an injury to his face. He left the field with a bloodied face.
Meanwhile, Mukesh bowled four overs in the match and picked one wicket for 32 runs. RCB started well but DC made a great comeback with their bowling, restricting them at 175/8 in the first innings.
Phil Salt (63) slammed a half-century but other batters failed to go big, with Tim David being the next highest scorer with 26 runs. Key batters like Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, and Jitesh Sharma failed to go big. Lungi Ngidi, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel clinched two wickets each.
Meanwhile, Mukesh has clinched five wickets in five games so far in IPL 2026 at an economy of 9.27. He has provided breakthroughs to the team in the powerplay in a few games. While RCB take the second spot in the points table, DC are placed in the sixth spot.
