WPL 2026: Mumbai Indians full schedule

Mumbai Indians will defend their title in WPL 2026.
On Saturday, 29th November, the schedule for the fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) was announced, which is all set to kick off on January 9, 2026. The two-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will put their title on the line against the other four participants.
WPL 2026 mega auction changed the looks of a few teams. MI were one of the few teams that retained their core players and also tried to buy back most of their released players at the auction. The franchise also had a few good signings, and the team is looking formidable.
The two-time champions had a good last season, where they beat Delhi Capitals (DC) in the final to lift their second title under Harmanpreet Kaur in three seasons. They won consecutive knockout games against Gujarat Giants and DC to win the title.
Nat Sciver-Brunt scored 523 runs and won the Orange Cap, while the Purple Cap also landed in MI’s kitty as Amelia Kerr finished the tournament with 18 wickets. It was sheer domination for MI in the last edition.
Now, the two-time champions will feature in the tournament’s opener as they face the 2024 winners, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, on January 9 (Friday) in Navi Mumbai to kick off their campaign of the next season.
