Nepal Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Fixtures, Dates, Venues

Nepal will kick-off their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Netherlands on 4th June, 2024.
The ICC unveiled the schedule for the Men’s ICC T20 World Cup 2024, placing Nepal in Group D alongside cricket powerhouses South Africa and Sri Lanka, as well as Bangladesh and the Netherlands. This edition of the T20 World Cup features an innovative format, hosting 20 teams for the first time, organized into four groups of five teams each. The competition will witness the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super Eight stage, followed by a division into two groups of four. As the stakes rise, the top two teams from these groups will then progress to the semi-finals, culminating in the grand finale scheduled for June 29th.
The 2024 edition of the T20 World Cup marks the second appearance for Nepal in this prestigious tournament. Nepal made its debut in the ICC tournament during the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, where they faced elimination in the preliminary group stage. In the latest qualifying campaign for the 2023 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier, Nepal showcased their cricketing prowess by finishing in the second position, earning them a well-deserved spot in the upcoming T20 World Cup in 2024.
Nepal will play their last group match against Bangladesh on 16th June
Nepal are set to begin their T20 World Cup 2024 journey with a match against the Netherlands in Dallas on June 4. The following encounter awaits them against Sri Lanka on June 11 in Lauderhill.
The remaining group-stage fixtures for Nepal are slated for the Caribbean, where they will face formidable opponents in South Africa on June 14 and Bangladesh on June 16, both in St. Vincent. The outcome of these matches will determine Nepal’s qualification for the Super 8 round, providing an exciting opportunity for the team to showcase their skills on the global stage.
