Netherlands Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2026, Fixtures, Dates, Venues

Netherlands will face Pakistan in the tournament’s opener of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

The schedule, groups, and fixtures for the upcoming Men’s ICC T20 World Cup 2026 have been announced. On Tuesday, 25th November, the International Cricket Council (ICC) made an announcement, and we are just a couple of months away from the showcase event. It will be held in India and Sri Lanka, featuring 20 teams, which are divided in four groups of five teams each.

All these games will be played between February 7 and March 8. The tournament will begin with a game between Pakistan and Netherlands in Colombo. There will be 55 matches, including the final. These matches will be played in 8 different venues.

Only two teams from each group will make it to the next round. It will also follow two groups of four in the Super Eight round, which will decide the four semi-finalists. Netherlands are set to be part of Group A and will feature in the tournament’s opener.

This will be their seventh appearance in this mega event; the latest one came in 2024, when they finished 14th in the tournament. Netherlands are placed in Group A, along with India, Pakistan, United States, and Namibia. They will face Pakistan in their opening game of the tournament.

Netherlands are in a slightly tougher group as they have to face the defending champions, India, the 2009 winners, Pakistan, and two good sides, Namibia and the United States of America. They will lock horns with Pakistan on February 7 in Colombo.

They will then have a 2-day gap before they take on Namibia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on February 10. Then they will face USA in their third game on February 13 in Chennai. It will be followed by their final group match, against India on February 18 in Ahmedabad.

2. Netherlands vs Namibia, Arun Jaitley Stadium, February 10, Delhi at 11 AM IST

3. Netherlands vs USA, MA Chidambaram Stadium, February 13, Chennai, at 7 PM IST

4. Netherlands vs India, Narendra Modi Stadium, February 18, Ahmedabad, at 7 PM IST
