New Zealand schedule for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 – Timings, dates, venues, all you need to know

New Zealand will play their first match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 against India on October 4.

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from October 3 to October 20, where Australia will defend their title.

The tournament was originally to be held in Bangladesh, but due to the ongoing protests in the country, the International Cricket Council (ICC) shifted it to the UAE.

The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will see a total of 10 teams compete. They are divided into two groups of five each. All teams will play four group-stage matches in their respective groups.

The top two sides in each group will advance to the semi-finals. The winners of both semi-finals will play the final on October 20 in Dubai.

New Zealand are placed in Group A alongside India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Australia. New Zealand were the runners-up at the 2009 and 2010 editions of the Women’s T20 World Cup. In the T20 World Cup 2024, New Zealand will look to clinch their maiden ICC T20 title.

New Zealand schedule for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024:

New Zealand’s opening fixture in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is against India on October 4 in Dubai. They will then take on defending champions Australia on October 8 in Sharjah.

New Zealand’s third fixture is against Sri Lanka on October 12 in Sharjah. Their final group-stage match is on October 14 against Pakistan in Dubai.
