Talking about his leadership skills Ashwin said, “At one point in time, I wanted to be a three-format player. I always believed I had great leadership qualities in me. And always believed that I could be a good leader because it’s not about leading on the field. It’s leading men. However, when that journey came to an end, I figured I needed to work on my intra-personal skills”.
Ashwin termed his journey as a tough one. Ashwin has come back nicely in the last two years and has become part of India’s T20 and Test format. He has also done well in the Indian Premier League.
