NZ vs IND 1st T20I LIVE - Toss Result, Confirmed Playing 11s & Pre Match Updates
The multi-format series between New Zealand and India will begin with the first T20I on Thursday. The two sides will clash at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, starting at 12:30 PM IST / 8 PM local.
India enter the series after a drawn T20I series at home against West Indies. The West Indies batsmen thoroughly pummelled India’s bowling attack. However, conditions in New Zealand will differ from those in India.
The pitches will help pacers, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will lead India’s pace attack. Varun Chakravarthy has returned after injury and will compete with Kuldeep for a spot in the playing XI.
New Zealand have their full-strength squad, and their combination looks better than India’s at the moment. They will be looking to take the world champions down in this home series.
