New Zealand defeated India by seven wickets in the fifth T20I at Seddon Park in Hamilton on November 1. Tim Seifert played a brilliant knock of 93 off 50 balls, while Glenn Phillips remained unbeaten on 65 off 38 balls as the hosts chased down the target of 192 in just 18 overs.
Earlier, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer scored half-centuries for India and added 93 runs for the third wicket. However, Adam Milne picked up four wickets for 19 runs to restrict India to 191/8.
