The 2nd NZ vs IND ODI will be played at Hnry Stadium in Wellington on Saturday.

The second ODI between India and New Zealand will be played at Hnry Stadium in Wellington. On Saturday, November 7, this contest will start at 7:30 PM IST. Shubman Gill and co. will be targetting consecutive wins after their dominating win in opening encounter.

New Zealand entered the ODI series with two dominating wins to end the T20I series. But they failed to carry on the momentum. India were also lucky that the toss ended in their favor and they got a chance to bowl first in the seaming conditions.

The Indian bowlers used the conditions to beat the effect, and the pacers took nine wickets between them. Anshul Kamboj took 2/22 and won the Player of the Match award. Virat Kohli scored a match-winning 74 off 51 balls with 13 fours and one six.

New Zealand struggled with the bat and got out cheaply. The hosts will look to level the series after addressing the issues they had in Auckland. India have a chance to add another win on this tour.

The rain delayed the toss in the first NZ vs IND ODI in Auckland. Later, there were a few interruptions during the game because of rain. The weather forecast for the second ODI isn’t encouraging at all. It is a day-night game in Wellington.

The forecast for the second ODI shows a possibility of rain during the game time. The New Zealand Weather Department predicts light rain on Saturday in the afternoon and evening with 39-54% precipitation.

During the scheduled time, the temperature is predicted to be around 14-16°C, whereas the wind speed is predicted to reach a maximum of 18 kmph. The humidity index is likely to be around 80-90 percent.

Hence, there are chances that the rain can play a spoil sport in the second ODI. However, there is no strong prediction of continuous rain, but passing showers can lead to multiple rain breaks. That is why both teams will be looking to bowl first if they win the toss.
