Oman Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2026, Fixtures, Dates, Venues

Oman will face Zimbabwe in their opening game of ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
We are just a couple of months away from the much-awaited ICC T20 World Cup 2026 as Team India are ready to put their title on the line. The coming edition will follow the format of the last edition, which will have 20 teams fighting for the glory.
The tournament will be held between 7 February and 8 March 2026. A total of 55 games will be played in the tournament. It will begin with the group stage as 20 teams are divided into four groups of five teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight round.
Two groups with four teams each in the Super Eight will find the four semi-finalists. All these matches will be played in India and Sri Lanka. Oman will also be looking to showcase their skillset as they head into ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
This will be their fourth appearance in the ICC T20 World Cup, and they will be part of Group B in the 10th edition of the tournament. Previous to this, Oman featured in 2016, 2021, and 2024 finishing in the group stage. Currently ranked No. 20, Oman made it through the tournament after finishing as runners-up in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup Asia–EAP Regional qualifiers.
Oman are placed in tough Group B of ICC T20 World Cup 2026

Oman are part of Group B and will have to play one game each against Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Ireland. Interestingly, unlike other groups, this group has only one associate nation team, which is Oman. They will begin their campaign with a game against Zimbabwe on February 9 in Colombo.
Oman will take on the co-hosts, Sri Lanka in their second game at the Pallekele International Stadium on February 12. Their third game against Ireland is scheduled for February 14 in Colombo. Oman will face Australia in their final group match on February 20 in Pallekele. Oman will play all of their group stage games in Sri Lanka.

4. Oman vs Australia, Pallekele International Stadium, February 20, Pallekele at 7 PM IST
