RCB-W beat DC-W by six wickets to win their second WPL title.

A perfect game to end the epic edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL 2026). Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women have successfully won the WPL trophy for the second time in four seasons. On the other hand, the Delhi Capitals Women have had yet another season as runners-up.

It was a high-scoring final between RCB-W and DC-W in Vadodara. Smriti Mandhana won the toss and put DC-W to bat first. DC-W had a great start with a 49-run opening stand in 5.5 overs. Lizelle Lee scored 37 off 30, and Shafali Verma played a cameo of 20 off 13.

Following this, Laura Wolvaardt and captain Jemimah Rodrigues put together a 76-run partnership for the third wicket. Wolvaardt played a good hand with 44 off 25 balls. Jemimah carried her form from Eliminator and scored a crucial fifty.

She scored 57 off 37 balls. Chinelle Henry played an unbeaten cameo of 35 off 15 to take DC-W over the 200-run mark. DC-W finished the first innings at 203-4. Chasing a mammoth total, RCB-W had a poor start with Grace Harris getting out for 9 off 7.

But it was followed by a record stand between Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Voll. Both batters scored half-centuries and added 165 runs together. Voll played a good innings of 79 off 54 balls, with 14 fours. Mandhana scored 87 off 41 balls, at a strike rate of 212.20.

RCB-W lost three quick wickets for 17 runs in the end; Radha Yadav’s 12* off 5 balls finished it up for the RCB-W. With that, Mandhana and co. won their second title, while it was another heartbreak for the Delhi Capitals franchise as they lost their fourth straight WPL final.

The winning captain, Smriti Mandhana, played a crucial role in the final and finished the season with the Orange Cap. She scored 377 runs in nine innings at an average of 53.85 and a strike rate of 153.25. Harmanpreet Kaur finished as the second-highest scorer with 342 runs in 8 innings.

Nat Sciver-Brunt scored 321 runs in 7 innings and was the third-highest scorer in the WPL 2026. The DC-W duo of Lizelle Lee (320) and Laura Wolvaardt (317) finished the next two on the list.

Sophie Devine finished the WPL 2026 with the Purple Cap. She clinched 17 wickets in nine games at an economy rate of 8.28. Nandani Sharma also had 17 wickets in 10 games, but Devine had slightly better stats.

RCB-W’s Nadine de Klerk was fantastic throughout the season, and she took 16 in nine games. Amelia Kerr is fourth on the list with 14 wickets. Shree Charani also took 14 wickets and finished as the fifth-highest wicket-taker in the WPL 2026.
