Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled the new kit for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023
On Monday, the PCB revealed the new jersey at an event held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan. This new kit has been designed to give a cool look. It has the traditional green color with stripes colored in dark and light green. On the left side of the kit, it has the logo of the Cricket World Cup 2023 with ICC World Cup 2023 India written over it.
The event was led by PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf. The jersey signifies the connection between Pakistani cricket heroes and their devoted supporters. The PCB chairman said, “The Star Nation Jersey bears witness to the enduring bond between our cricketers and the passionate fans who stand by them through every match. This jersey encapsulates our rich cricketing heritage and the luminous future that awaits.”
The PCB shared a picture of Pakistani superstars, including Babar Azam, wearing new kits on various social media platforms. Pakistani players have already been in Sri Lanka for over a month. They recently won the three-match ODI series 3-0 against Afghanistan. Previously, they played two tests against Sri Lanka, and then some of the players, including Babar Azam, took part in the LPL 2023.
