The T20I Tri-series in Pakistan will be played from 17th to 29th November.
Pakistan Cricket Team is all set to host Sri Lanka Cricket Team and the Afghanistan Cricket Team in a T20I Tri-series later this year, which will be great preparation for the teams ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup next year. The series will begin on 17th November and will conclude with the final on 29 November.
During the Tri-nation series, all teams will play each other twice. The first two games of the series will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, while the last five games, including the final, will take place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
This will be the second time that Pakistan will be locking horns in a T20I tri-series this year. They are currently playing the Tri-nation series against Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Sharjah and have reached the final along with the Rashid Khan-led side.
Originally, Sri Lanka were scheduled to play a three-match ODI, three-match T20I bilateral series in Pakistan, but the T20I series has now been replaced by a Tri-series. Notably, the ODIs will go as per the schedule. All three teams would be keen to make an impact as it promises to be an exciting series.
Schedule of the Tri-series in Pakistan

The series will begin with Pakistan taking on Afghanistan in the opener. Then, two days later Sri Lanka will be in action against Afghanistan.
Here’s the full schedule:

This will also be the first time that Afghanistan will be playing against Pakistan in Pakistan. Afghanistan played the Asia Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan, but didn’t face the home team on either occasion.
Talking about the series, PCB COO Sumair Ahmed said that it will offer an excellent preparation for all the teams heading to the ICC T20 World 2026.
“We look forward to hosting Sri Lanka and Afghanistan for Pakistan’s maiden T20I tri-series, PCB COO Sumair Ahmed said in a statement on the PCB website. “This event will not only offer excellent preparation for next year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, but also present fans with exciting cricket across venues.”
