Pakistan have lost the most matches in test cricket history after scoring 500 runs in an innings.

In test cricket, if a team makes 500 or more runs in an innings, they are often considered the favourites to win the match, or at least to not lose the game. However, there have been some shocking instances in which a team staged a stunning fightback to win the clash despite conceding 500 or more runs in an innings.

The Pakistan cricket team have lost the most number of matches after scoring 500+ runs in an innings. The Asian side has lost four times despite piling up over 500 runs in an innings.

On that note, let’s take a look at the instances when Pakistan cricket team made 500+ runs in an innings but still suffered defeats.
