Pakistan have qualified for Super 8 round of T20 World Cup 2026 from Group A.

Pakistan Cricket Team have become the second team from Group A to qualify for the Super 8 round of T20 World Cup 2026. They have bagged the triumph from their pool after their arch-rivals India.

The Salman Agha & Co. made it to the Super 8 round after crushing Namibia by a heavy margin of 102 runs in their fourth match of the Group Stage. Piling up a gigantic total of 199/3 on back of Sahibzada Farhan’s ton, they bundled out Namibia for just 97 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan crushed Netherlands by three wickets in their first match of the tournament, bagging victory in a close-fought encounter. Later, they dominated USA in their next match, winning by 32 runs with ease.

They lost to India by 61 runs in their third game; however, they stole a win in their must-win clash against Namibia to book a berth in the next round. They finished in the second spot in the points table with six points after three wins out of four clashes.

In the Super 8 stage, the T20 World Cup 2009 champions will clash with New Zealand in the first game, which will take place on Saturday, February 21, at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.

On February 24, they will battle with England in their second game at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Their last clash of the Super 8 is against Asian rivals Sri Lanka, which will also take place at the same venue on February 28.
