Revealed- Pakistan star texted Virat Kohli after his IPL fight with Gautam Gambhir

Virat Kohli & Gautam Gambhir were involved in an ugly altercation after IPL 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants.

Virat Kohli’s spat with his former Delhi and India teammate Gautam Gambhir became one of the most controversial points in cricket in the previous year. Kohli and Gambhir had an ugly altercation during an IPL 2023 encounter between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants. The duo and a few other players were penalized after the altercation.

Young Pakistani all-rounder Salman Ali Agha has now revealed that he texted Virat Kohli after the controversy and later his moment with Virat Kohli went viral during Asia Cup 2023. Salman revealed that he sent a DM to Virat Kohli after the altercation and the text started with ‘Kohli bhai.’ Salman also expressed that he has huge respect and regard for star Indian batter Virat Kohli.

Salman Agha revealed text to Virat Kohli

Salman said, “I have so much respect for Virat Kohli, I don’t think there is any cricket fan in the world who doesn’t respect him. I texted him, I am not going to tell you the complete details but will just tell you the start. It started with ‘Virat Bhai.’ I texted him when he had a fight with Gautam Gambhir.”

He also clarified that there was nothing negative in his text to Virat Kohli. Salman Agha added, “I, Abdullah Shafique and Usama Mir were sitting together and watching a match, I think New Zealand were playing a series against Pakistan back then. There was nothing [negative] in that message that would make people think I said something bad.”

Virat Kohli visited the Pakistan dressing room and later that moment became viral on social media. Agha concluded, “I mistakenly told Shadab Khan about texting Virat. You have watched the video of me, Shadab and Virat standing together [during Asia Cup 2023], actually, at that time, he (Shadab) had told him (Virat) that I (Salman) texted him.”
