Australia test and ODI captain Pat Cummins has revealed his best India-Australia combined ODI XI. Surprisingly, the right-arm pacer left out Indian batting legends Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in his team.
Cummins is recovering from a back injury and has been ruled out of upcoming home white-ball series against India, where they will play three ODIs and five T20Is. In his absence, Mitchell Marsh will lead Australia in the three-match ODI series. The first ODI of the series will be played on October 19 at Perth Cricket Stadium.
Rohit and Kohli are set to return to Indian Cricket Team in the ODI series, after having last played for India in March during ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Rohit Sharma-led India defeated New Zealand in the final to win the title.

For the middle-order, he inducted Ricky Ponting, Steve Smith, Shane Watson, and Michael Bevan. The Australian stalwart chose MS Dhoni, who captained India to three ICC white-ball titles, as the wicket-keeper of his team.
He then went ahead with Shane Warne, who is the all-time second-highest wicket-taker in international cricket as the spinner of the side. In the pace department, he chose Brett Lee, Zaheer Khan, and Glenn McGrath.
