PBKS' full schedule for IPL 2026: Know match dates, timings, venues & more

Last year’s runner-ups PBKS will hope to go one better in IPL 2026 under Shreyas Iyer’s captaincy.
The new combination of Shreyas Iyer and Ricky Ponting has worked wonders for Punjab Kings (PBKS), who came so close to winning a maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) last year. After finishing at the top spot in points table and finishing as finalists, they will enter this season with hopes of breaking their title drought.
PBKS boast an enviable Indian batting core, led by Shreyas Iyer alongside youngsters like Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh. They released Glenn Maxwell from the squad and roped in Cooper Connolly and Mitchell Owen. With three of the best overseas all-rounders in Marcus Stoinis, Marco Jansen and Azmatullah Omarzai, Punjab have nearly every base ticked in their batting department.
They will hope their main spinner Yuzvendra Chahal enjoys a good stint in IPL this season. However, apart from Arshdeep Singh, the team could struggle in the bowling department as they rely heavily on their all-rounders to pick early wickets and nail their yorkers under pressure in the death overs.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) schedule for IPL 2026

According to the initial schedule, despite being finalists last year, Punjab Kings will have to wait for their opening match. They begin their campaign on March 31 against Gujarat Titans at home. They then play their next two matches away from home, in Chennai and Kolkata, before returning to Mullanpur, to face off against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
