The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 is about to end, with the finale taking place at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Sunday, May 3. Peshawar Zalmi, led by Babar Azam, made their way into the final after defeating Islamabad United in the Qualifier, while the Hyderabad Kingsmen, one of the new teams, won both of their eliminators to earn their place in the final.
Peshawar Zalmi has been a team to beat this tournament, winning 8 of their 10 matches and losing only one game, with one match being washed out. They topped the table and continued their good form in the playoffs too. The Kingsmen, however, had a bad start to the tournament, as they lost their first four matches in a row, which made their playoff chances weak.
But after that, they made a very strong comeback, winning seven of their last eight games, and that is the reason they are in the final.The winner of this clash will get their hands on the coveted trophy, along with a very big amount of money.
For the first time in PSL history, there will be a separate prize money system for the franchises. This decision was announced by PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi to support the growth of the league. On that note, let’s have a look at the prize money both teams will receive after the clash.

The PSL 2026 winning team will receive USD 500,000, which is approximately PKR 139,387,500 (Pakistani rupees).
How much money will PSL 2026 runners-up get?
The runners-up will receive USD 300,000, which is approximately PKR 83,632,500. Moreover, there is also an additional reward of USD 200,000 for the team with the best player development program.

The total prize pool for PSL 2026 is USD 1.5 million, and it is divided as follows:
