Top five player battles to watch out for in LKN vs CHE Match No. 34 in IPL 2024

Match No. 34 of the IPL 2024 will be a LKN vs CHE clash to take place on Friday in Lucknow.

Lucknow Super Giants started the IPL 2024 pretty well; they won three consecutive games after a loss in the first one. They were looking for great momentum, but suddenly, LKN suffered two consecutive defeats. As a result, they have slipped to fifth place on the table.

2. KL Rahul vs Ravindra Jadeja

A big match-up will be between two veteran Indian stars who have played many games together across formats. We are talking about KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja. These two have crossed paths many times in the IPL.

They know each other well which can help them in this battle. Jadeja is yet to dismiss Rahul in the IPL, but he has only given away 48 runs off 42 balls at a strike rate of 114.3.

3. Ruturaj Gaikwad vs Ravi Bishnoi

The CHE captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has scored two half-centuries in the last two games. He will look to repeat the performance in the coming game. He is pretty good against pace, but there is still a weakness against quality spin and Ravi Bishnoi can exploit it.

Well, the positive was his extra speed, as he clocked 150 kmph a few times. That can rattle anyone. Shivam Dube is the main batter for CHE and he is scoring runs in almost every game. He can murder spin, but extra pace can be very effective against him. Hence, it will be an important match-up in the game.

5. Nicholas Pooran vs Matheesha Pathirana

Nicholas Pooran will be the one player to watch out for. The left-hander is one of the most destructive batters in IPL 2024. He can score runs at a rapid pace and has hit 19 sixes so far. But, he will be up against Matheesha Pathirana, who has good numbers against him. The CHE pacer has bowled 30 balls to Pooran and dismissed him three times in T20s and the batter has scored 31 runs at a 103.3 strike rate. So, this battle can change the outcome of the LKN vs CHE clash.
