Top five player battles to watch out for in SRH vs LKN match No. 57 in IPL 2024

1. Travis Head vs Naveen ul Haq

The Hyderabad pitch will suit his style of batting, and he can be destructive here. He will be up against Naveen-ul-Haq, who bowls different types of slower ones, which are tough to hit. Changeups in pace is a great option against Head. These two have been up against once in ODIs, and Naveen has dismissed Head once in two balls.

2. Heinrich Klaasen vs Ravi Bishnoi

Heinrich Klaasen is good against spin, but leg-spinners have troubled him a bit. He got out against Piyush Chawla in the last game cheaply. Hence, LSG might bring in Ravi Bishnoi against him. It will be a great match-up. Bishnoi has different variations, bowling close to the wicket and not giving Klaasen a chance to free his arm so he can work against the South African star.

3. KL Rahul vs Pat Cummins

There will be a good battle between two captains in the SRH vs LSG clash. Both KL Rahul and Pat Cummins are in good form and contributing in almost every match. Their performances can impact the result of the match. Cummins has dismissed Rahul two times in international cricket. However, it won’t be easy to hit slower ones because they can stick to the surface. Jaydev Unadkat bowls such balls a lot. The left-arm bowler has good numbers against Stoinis. He has dismissed him twice in 16 balls and just conceded 12 runs.

5. Nicholas Pooran vs T. Natarajan

A great battle will be in the final overs when Nicholas Pooran will be going hard. Pooran is a dynamic batter who can score 20–25 extra runs if he bats till the end, and these runs can create a massive difference in the game. However, SRH have a death overs specialist in T. Natarajan, who will be nailing yorkers in the final overs. This will be an exciting battle in the SRH vs LSG clash.
