List of all players dropped from India's ODI squad for England series

A few Indian players have been overlooked for ODI series against England.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the India squad for the ODI series against England on Sunday, June 21. The Indian Cricket Team will enter the England series on the back of clean sweep against Afghanistan in an ODI series, winning three games with ease.
Now, they are scheduled to play a short T20I series against Ireland later this month and a five-match series against England next month. The T20I series against England will be followed by a three-match ODI series, scheduled to take place from July 14 to 19.
The Harry Brook & Co. are known for their supremacy at their home conditions, where seamers and pacers enjoy more advantage than spinners. This means, the three-match series will be a big challenger for the Shubman Gill-led side, and also will act as great preparation for ICC Cricket World Cup 2027.
Some of the seniors stars are back in India squad for the ODI series against England. Moreover, a few players from Afghanistan series have been dropped as well.
Players dropped from India squad for England ODIs
Notably, three players who played in the Afghanistan series have lost their spots in the ODI series against England. They are Yashasvi Jaiswal, Prince Yadav, Harsh Dubey. Along with them, Mohammed Siraj has been dropped as well. Yadav and Dubey made their ODI debut in the series against Afghanistan but have been overlooked for the crucial campaign against The Three Lions.
Jaiswal’s exclusion is a surprising move as he impressed with his performances in the recent ODI series against Afghanistan. He hammered a match-winning century in the third ODI, helping the team to bag a clean sweep.
Moreover, Virat Kohli has returned to the squad but his availability is subjected to fitness. He was initially named in the ODI series against Afghanistan but was later ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Mohammed Siraj is another player who has been dropped. He also missed the Afghanistan series.
