Born in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Swastik Chikara is one of the youngest players in the IPL 2024. Delhi Capitals signed him for a price of INR 20 lakhs at the auction. He is a batting all-rounder who is known for his striking ability. Swastik is a top-order batter who made his List A debut for UP with a century. He was born on April 3, 2005, and was born a few months after Dhoni’s international cricket debut.
4. Aravelly Avanish (Chennai Super Kings)
Aravelly Avanish has not made his IPL debut yet, but he is part of CSK in the IPL 2024 edition. He is a wicket-keeper batter who was born on June 2, 2005, six months after MS Dhoni’s international debut. Avanish was also part of India’s U19 team that played the final of the U19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa.
3. Angkrish Raghuvanshi (Kolkata Knight Riders)
Born on June 5, 2005, KKR’s young sensation, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, is another one that has impressed everyone in the IPL 2024 so far. He made his IPL debut against RCB but didn’t bat. But then, he scored an excellent 54 against DC in his maiden innings. He is currently 18 years and 21 days old, and he was born six months after MS Dhoni’s international debut.
2. Kwena Maphaka (Mumbai Indians)
The Player of the Tournament in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024, the South African pacer Kwena Maphaka, made headlines when he was picked by the five-time champions Mumbai Indians as a replacement in the IPL 2024. He made his debut against SRH but had a horrible game. However, he has played two games this season and has taken one wicket. He was born on April 8, 2006, almost one and a half years after Dhoni’s international debut.

The Afghan leg-spinner Noor Ahmad made his IPL debut in 2023 for Gujarat Titans, and after that, he played for his country. He has played more IPL games than international ones. He was born on January 3, 2005, and is currently 19 years old. He was born a month after MS Dhoni’s first international cricket game. Noor has played 16 IPL matches and taken 19 wickets at an economy rate of 7.69.
