The first and the most important considered one is ICC ODI World Cup, which is played every 4 years, and the other one is ICC T20 World Cup, which happens every 2 years and is very frequent.

The formats of both of these World Cups are different and they challenge players to adapt to the format and situations accordingly. There have been many players in history who won either ODI World Cup or T20 World Cup, but the number of winners of both the events is still very small.

Only a handful of nations have won both of these events and even if they did, they won in different eras, which means the players of both the winning squads were not the same.

India have won the Cricket World Cup twice and the T20 World Cup three times in their history. Their maiden World Cup win came in 1983, and the next ODI World Cup they won was 28 years later in 2011. Australian Cricketers

Australia have won the most ICC Cricket World Cup titles in history. They have won the tournament a record six times, with the two most recent victories coming in 2015 and 2023.

They have also won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup once, in 2021, when they defeated the New Zealand in the final.

England Cricketers

England cricket team has been one of the few teams to win both the ICC Cricket World Cup and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. They were also the only team to hold the trophies of both World Cups simultaneously for a brief period.

They won their first T20 World Cup in 2010 and later lifted the trophy again in 2022, defeating the Pakistan in the final. England won their first and only Cricket World Cup in 2019 after defeating the New Zealand by the narrowest of margins due to the boundary rule in the Super Over.
