WPL 2026 Points Table, Most Runs & Wickets after Match 14, GG-W vs UPW-W

GG-W recorded a 45-run win over UPW-W after failing to win the previous three games in the WPL 2026.
Finally, after three successive defeats, Ash Gardner and her team have managed to get a “W’ against their name in the WPL 2026. They have beaten UP Warriorz Women for the second time this season and recorded a big win by 45 runs, defending a below-par total.
The action started with UPW-W winning the toss and deciding to bowl first. GG-W had a decent start as they were 43/2 in the five overs. Beth Mooney played cautiously for her 38 off 34. Captain Gardner had a poor outing as she scored 5 off 12.
But once again, it was Sophie Devine who came to the rescue. She batted at five and scored an unbeaten 50 off 42. Her knock helped GG-W to finish the first innings at 153/8. It looked below par at one stage. But GG-W had a good start.
Kiran Navgire was unlucky and got out for a golden duck. Captain Meg Lanning also couldn’t do much and scored only 14 off 10. Phoebe Litchfield (32 off 27) and Chloe Tyron (30 off 22) did try hard but didn’t get support from other batters.
Only three batters scored in double digits, and UPW-W were bowled out for 108 runs in 17.3 overs. Rajeshwari Gayakwad, who was included in the squad, took 3/16, while Sophie Devine and Renuka Thakur took two wickets each.

Though the result on Thursday did make changes on the points table. RCB-W, with five straight wins, have qualified for the playoffs and are at the top of the table. GG-W, which were at the bottom before this game, earned two points and moved to the second spot.
They now have six points on the board. MI-W have now three consecutive defeats, and they are third on the table with four points, followed by DC-W. After the defeat on Thursday, UPW-W have slipped to the bottom with four points.
