India defeated Pakistan by 61 runs in match 27 of the T20 World Cup 2026.

Three games took place in the T20 World Cup 2026 on Sunday, February 15, including the clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan. West Indies crushed Nepal in the morning by a huge margin of nine wickets, chasing down a 134-run target.

In the second encounter, the USA defeated Namibia by 31 runs to register their second victory of the tournament. They piled up a mammoth 199/4 in the first innings and later restricted Namibia to 168/6.

The IND vs PAK game was a one-sided affair where the Men-in-Blue piled up a powerful total of 175/7 in the first innings with a half-century by opener Ishan Kishan. Later, they bundled out Pakistan for 114 runs, winning the clash by a decent margin of 61 runs.

After their victory against Pakistan, India have qualified for the Super Eight Round of the T20 World Cup 2026. They grab the top spot in the Group A points table with six points, followed by the USA and Pakistan in the next two spots with four points each.

The Netherlands are next with two points, while Namibia, who has been eliminated from the tournament, have 0 points.

Group B

Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe took the top two positions in Group B points table with four points each, followed by Australia and Ireland with two points. Oman have been eliminated from the tournament and have 0 points.

Group C

With three victories in three games, the West Indies are at the top of the Group C points table with six points and have also qualified for the next round. England are next with four points, followed by Scotland and Italy with two points each.

Nepal have been eliminated from the tournament after losing all three matches and are placed last place with 0 points.

Group D

In Group D, South Africa enjoy the top spot in the points table with six points, having won all three matches. New Zealand are next with four points, followed by the UAE in third spot with two points. Afghanistan and Canada, who failed to win any of their two matches, have 0 points.

New Zealand’s Tim Seifert is the leading run-scorer in the T20 World Cup 2026 with 167 runs. Following his half-century in the IND vs PAK game, Ishan Kishan has jumped to the second spot with 158 runs.
